My goal at the beginning was to journal every day. This has not been the case. My days are sometimes moving so fast I miss the day. I could not even tell you much about that day. I think sometimes we are so consumed with the moment that not only do we miss the day, we miss the blessings that we were supposed to get. We should never just let life pass us by. God has a purpose for giving us this day. Psalm 118:24, “This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.”
Every morning when we wake up we should be thankful for another day. Then we should seek what God would have us to do that day. What is our purpose for this new day? The more we study the Word of God and pray he will show us the path we need to take. God’s direction is always better. When we follow our own direction there are pitfalls and problems. Obeying God and seeking his path will make the trip a lot better. He helps us to avoid the pitfalls and problems. Today has been a blessed day so far. Praying for continued calm. Looking forward to see what God has in store for me today.
