Let Your Light Shine

Today I had a conversation with a gentleman about what our future looks like now with the new President. I reminded him that we have to keep going forward and do what God would have us do. We just have to trust. God is in Control. Later at work I read a devotion about Eli and not letting our lamp go out.

One of the things mentioned in the devotional is carrying on for the next generation. Churches are losing their Pastors. I have heard of two that the Pastor died because of the Covid19 pandemic. Some churches are having to close their doors during this pandemic. Now we have a new President that wants to reverse all the good that has been accomplished in the past four years.

Now more than ever we need to take a stand and tell as many people as we can about the Lord. We need to shine our light brighter than ever before. The next generation needs hope. We are called to be servants of the Lord. We must live today with purpose. We must let our light shine.

Mathew 5:16, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

As they held the serpent up in the wilderness, we need to lift Jesus higher. Time is running out. What are we doing to let our light shine? Are we doing what the Lord has called us to do? We cannot be comfortable in our life and just let it pass by. There is work to do. Souls need to be saved. The next generation needs the light to not go out.
