Parker Inspirations

Many times, people give unsolicited advice as if they are Holy Spirit. Only God can speak to our hearts through Holy Spirit. God uses times like preaching or the reading of his word to speak to our hearts. If we are seeking the Lord. He will guide us in the direction He has for us. I do not know what path someone else should take. So, I do not have the authority to tell someone they need to get right with the Lord. And others do not have the authority to tell me which way to go. Only God knows what is ahead.

A very wise man said to me, “Prayer is a one on one conversation between you and God, it is not a conference call.”

I am always amazed how everyone knows what is best for someone else. Pastor was preaching on this yesterday. He used the reference of the mote and the beam. When we try to be holy spirit to someone else we are not seeing the telephone pole in front of us. I have to focus on my walk with God. My prayer is Lord Change Me. First John 1:9 talks about the individual confessing their sins to God and God forgiving. Nowhere does it include others.

As I write this I am praying for my own life to reflect God. I just want to serve the Lord and be blessed by God. Life as we are seeing it today needs us to be focused on the Gospel and telling the world how to be saved. We do not know how much time we have left before the rapture. People need the Lord and we as children of God should be working harder now than ever.
