Saying Goodbye

We went to Oklahoma and were able to see our Daughter’s. When it was time to say goodbye it was sad, but we knew it would only be for awhile. The reason we went to Oklahoma was my sister-in-law graduated to Heaven. Saying goodbye to her is also for just a little while. We are sad to see her go, but we will see her again someday.

I am reminded of the story in the Bible of David when he fasted and prayed for his son to be healed. After the son died he said, “While the child was yet alive, I fasted and wept: for I said, Who can tell whether God will be gracious to me, that the child may live? But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me.” (2 Samuel 12:22-23)

I know that one day I will be in Heaven and I will see all my loved ones who have gone before me. If they could talk to us they would tell us that this is only for awhile. They would tell us to finish what God has told us to do here on earth so we can see Heaven for ourselves. They would tell us how wonderful Heaven is and what Glory it is to see Jesus face to face.

The question is are you 100% sure you will see Heaven when it is you time to die?

It is important to me to share with you how you can know for sure. I would hate for something to happen and I never told you this.

I am sure you know the story of Christ dying on the Cross. There is more to the story than Jesus dyeing on the cross.

We first have to see that we sin. (Sin is when we say and do things we know we should not say or do) [Romans 3:10 “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:”] [Romans 3:23For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”] Because of sin we cannot enter into Heaven.

Christ died to pay for the sin of the whole world. When, He concord death and rose from the dead he now has a gift for us called Eternal life. [Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”]

A gift is free and something we have to receive. If we never receive God’s gift we will die and go to Hell. But God loved us so much that he provided away for us to receive his gift of eternal life. [Romans 5:28 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”]

Through what Jesus did for us, we can have Eternal life. [Romans 10:9-10 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”]

We have to admit we are Sinners, believe in our Heart that Jesus died for our sin, and then ask him for the Gift. Without the gift of Eternal life when we die we would go to Hell and pay for our sin by our self. With the gift we can go to Heaven.

When someone showed me what I just told you: I knew I was a sinner and that I did not want to go to Hell and pay for my own Sin. That day I said a prayer and asked God for the gift of eternal life. I know 100% for sure that when I die I am going to Heaven.

I care about your eternal soul, so I am sharing this to you in hopes that you will ask God for that gift and know 100% for sure that Heaven is your final Home as well. It is real simple just pray:

Dear Lord: I know I am a sinner and my sin will take me to Hell. I know Jesus that you died in my place. I ask you to give me that gift of eternal life and take me to Heaven when I die. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus name. Amen!

This is a onetime transaction between you and God. A gift is received only once. So if you ask Him to give you the gift it is yours. [Romans 10:13 “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”] The last three words are a promise. If you ask Him, He will give it to you.
