Investments

Many people make investments for monetary gain. Setting up for the future. There are many avenues to do this. But there is a greater investment that has an endless value. The investment in others.

As a child I had my parents who invested in my growth and welfare. They taught me the values of work and character. I had four brothers and a sister who had apart of my growing up. My brothers wives also were very helpful in my life.

My Pastor and his wife were always there for me. Then there was a Bus Captain who worked to encourage me to go to Church every Sunday on the Bus. My Sunday school teachers also invested in me. It was in Junior Church I heard the gospel and excepted Christ as my Savior.

In my teen years I had Youth Directors who invested in me. There were many people in the Church who gave of there vacation time to go as chaperons for Youth camp and Youth activities. These are valuable people who thought of others.

Today there are still others who invest in my life to encourage me. My husband is a great example of someone who invest in others. My Pastor and his wife have giving there lives to invest in others. I am truly blessed to say I am learning everyday new things to make me a better person, because of those who have invested in me.

In return I try to invest my time to do the same for others around me. We are always being apart of touching someone else in some way. The real question is How? Are we a positive influence or a negative one?

Our main focus to invest in others is to get the Gospel to everyone we can. We should treat each day as if it might be our last to get the gospel to others. We are not guaranteed tomorrow.
