May I never forget on my best day, that I still need God as desperately as I did on my worst.
Jeremiah 32:27 “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?”
Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.”
Up on the Mountain or down in the Valley I need the Lord. I am nothing on my own. Only through Christ can I keep going forward.
Psalms 18:2 “The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.”
The Lord is my strong foundation to stand on, to not sink into despair. My fortress to protect me from that which is without. My deliverer when I slip and fall. When I am weak he is my strength, and I will trust him. My buckler that shields me from the darts of the devil. He is my God, my salvation, and my high tower.
Psalms 27:1 “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”
No matter what may come my way, I do not have to be afraid. The Lord lights the way and guides in the path that I must travel. Through the Word of the Lord, I can see the path clearly.
Psalm 119:105 “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.”
I need God in the good days and the worse days. My prayer is: Lord, empty me of me and Fill me with you.
