As a child I loved playing hide and seek. Especially where I grew up, because there where very few streetlights. I could lay down in the grass right in front of the person and they could not see me. Then when they would run to seek where everyone was, I would run to base and be safe.
In life the world thinks they can hide from God in dark places. No matter where we go God knows where we are at all times. We cannot hide.
In the book of Job, I was reading chapter 22 and Eliphaz was talking. He asked the question in verse verses 13-14 How doeth God know? can he judge through the dark cloud? Thick clouds are a covering to him, that he seeth not: and he walketh in the circuit of heaven. Elephaz was wrong, because God sees all. He sees in dark places; he sees through the dark clouds. God is all knowing, all seeing and everywhere.
Not only can we not hide our physical where abouts, but we cannot hide our thoughts. There is nothing hid from God. (Luke 22:2 For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.) The world thinks because they cannot see God that he does not exist. That does not make it true.
When Jesus walked on the earth, he often told the nay sayer what they were thinking. (Matthew 9:4 And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?)
Just remember that wither we acknowledge God is real or not will not change that He is God. We cannot hide from God.
