The Last Page

Have you ever read a book more than once? Was it so good you could not put it down? When I read a really good book, I like to keep it in my library. Some books are good but not good enough to keep. Some books I never finished reading.

Just like those books our lives are what people read. I want others to enjoy being where I am. I am saddened to think someone would see me as a book they did not want to read. Or even a book that they like but not enough to keep around.

Everyday our lives are a page of a book that is being read. The question is: what are they reading on that page? Is what they are reading something they want to keep reading? How we live our lives is being read by everyone we see. Not just friends and loved one. A stranger decides by what they see if they want to continue to know more. A judgment is made when we first meet someone.

Every day we should want to be a page in life that draws people to want to know more about us. Our life should be a reflection of Christ. In John 12 verse thirty-two Jeus says: “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.” This is talking about his crucifixion, but it is also talking about our life lifting up Jesus in everything we do.

Does your life lift up Jesus? Do people know what you believe? Will people be shocked to find out you believe in Jesus? If you died today, what would you last page say about you?
