Thought-Provoking

I am amazed at how people miss the most important part of what I write about. I try to encourage people to be the best version of themselves. I write about different things that I myself struggle with sometimes. I write about the greatness of the Lord in my life. Yet some of the comments that are left have nothing to do with what is written.

Is what I write not thought provoking? Or do people just read a part of what I write and think they know the whole story? Anything that I read I want to know the whole story. I want it to be life changing. Even fictional stories can have a thought-provoking effect on our lives. My main focus is how it relates to my spiritual life.

The post before this was an analogy of how our life is viewed by others. What will the last page of our life read? Yet all the comments were people telling what their favorite book was. I am glad they read books, but that it not the thought-provoking idea of what I wrote. The title was the Last Page.

We cannot see the last page of our lives. We can only see today. Today I would like to be the very best at whatever I do. Whatever comes my way. If today is my last day of life I want to be remembered for doing my best for the Lord. (Ecclesiastes 9:10 Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.) Once my life is over, I can do no more. Today is the day, right now, to do the very best in everything I do.

If you have read to the end of this post please think about what you are doing in your life. Are you doing your best in everything you do? When it is all over, what will be said of your life?
